What is TSD Organic?
TSD Organic is a t-shirt brand unique to TS Designs and our customers. Our first major product foray into sustainability, we have a very special spot in our hearts for this shirt line. It's been a cornerstone of our sustainable journey.

Unique Benefits
Our organic shirts are made from certified organic cotton, which means no pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically engineered seeds are used when farming the cotton. They're also knit, finished, cut, and sewn right here in our home state of North Carolina, making TSD Organic one of the few US-made organic cotton t-shirt lines. TSD Organics are made from 20s/1 ringspun cotton, which gives them a nice solid weight but super soft feel.

Disadvantages
Getting our hands on certified organic cotton grown in the U.S. has become practically impossible in the last few years because of higher demand from big players in the market and because of our need for a very high quality yarn. As a result, our only reliable supply comes from overseas. The cotton is grown, ginned, and spun in Pakistan, then shipped over to be made into shirts here in NC. Though the cotton is Fair Trade certified, we're not huge fans of the transportation footprint, and would love to employ farmhands, ginners, and spinners right here in our backyard for our organic product if we could.
