TS Designs is a wholesale custom t-shirt printing operation that operates on a sustainable triple bottom line.  We pride ourselves in offering a variety of environmentally friendly, socially responsible apparel options, including our flagship line Cotton of the Carolinas – a product made entirely, dirt-to-shirt, in North Carolina.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an organized, disciplined individual who will is diligent about following procedure to work 40 hours per week as our Dye House Manager.

A qualified candidate should be:

  • Meticulous about following instructions and written procedure – stepping outside of procedure can have major consequences in the dye process

  • Very precise when it comes to small details

  • Willing to work in a hot environment for up to 14 hour shifts with heavy lifting

  • Capable of lifting 50+ pounds

  • A good manager – you will oversee one or two additional dye house employees

  • Able to communicate well with our plant manager

Please note: Previous textile dyeing experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Activities

The job activities will include:

  • Weighing and preparing material to be dyed according to schedule set by plant manager

  • Driving a box truck to deliver materials to dye house (manual transmission, no special license required)

  • Performing startup procedure at dye house

  • Measuring and mixing dyes for the day’s production

  • Overseeing and following procedure for each dye tub

  • Being responsible for an orderly and clean work area

  • Standing on your feet for long periods of time

More About Hours and Compensation

This is a full time position.  You will be paid hourly, and should expect to work 32-40 hours a week with occasional overtime.
