In 2013, we’ll grow the best garden ever!
That’s our plan. And this morning, we started outlining our strategy to make sure that we stay on track! Eric and Erin met in the conference room to plan out what the TS Designs garden would look like through different states of the 2013 growing season: Spring, Summer 1, Summer 2 and Fall.
Unfortunately, the garden fell by the wayside in 2012 – so this year, we are taking steps to make sure that more people on our team are updated on what needs to happen and when.
Our garden is not only an asset to our team’s health and well being, it is an important part of our story!
Here’s the plan:
Eric, our President, is in charge of overall garden management, including: moving the chickens, tilling the rows, mowing the grass, and maintaining the drip irrigation system.
Erin, our Sales Queen (and who has a degree in Sustainable Agriculture), will be working with Shannon (Head of Production here at TS Designs) on the weekly plant schedule, so that they can work together to coordinate the team.
We will be working with Chris Murray of Sunset Farms to supply most of the plants. Working with Chris’s schedule and plants will help us streamline our process.
We’re really looking forward to continuing to develop the soil on our property, using sustainable options, and growing some of the best fruits and vegetables in our area this coming year.
