Bok Choy from the TS Designs garden

Beautiful Bok Choy straight from the TS Designs Garden – 2012 Harvest.

On December 25th, Eric Henry (our President) stopped by the property and picked some fresh greens from the Company Garden. I ask you, how many company presidents do you know who get to just drop by the property for fresh produce?

One of the best things about investing time and energy into the earth around us is the gift that it offers back, the fruit of our labor. And that’s an important part of our community here at TS Designs.

What you see here is Bok Choy, also known as a variety of Chinese cabbage.

“Chinese cabbage is one of the most common of vegetables. It is full of crude fiber and Vitamin C. It also helps to cure internal heat. The thrombin contained in the Chinese cabbage is beneficial to prevent stroke.” (Source: Wikipedia)

Our garden is not only an asset to our team’s health and well being, it is an important part of our story! — Eric Henry, TS Designs President

Eric took home this beautiful bunch of fresh bok choy and sauteed it with garlic, ginger, soy sauce – along with a couple of other ingredients – and he said that it was absolutely delicious, a perfect addition to his festive meal.
